The DfE have advised that they are working hard to finalise the bursaries, scholarships and salaried grant funding for trainees starting initial teacher training (ITT) in academic year 2025/26. We expect to announce these soon.

Yes. We are working hard to finalise the financial incentives offered for trainees starting ITT in the academic year 2025/26 and will announce these soon.
Why are the bursaries, scholarships and salaried grant funding delayed this year?
We review bursaries each year before announcing the offer for trainees starting ITT the following academic year. As part of this process, we secure cross-government approval for the funding, which this year is in advance of the spending review. Nonetheless, we expect to announce the funding soon.
