TRAINING OVERVIEW
The 1-year programme sees schools employ Teaching Apprentices and utilise their apprenticeship levy to fund a programme of initial teacher training (ITT). The Kingsbridge Teacher Apprenticeship is a twelve-month programme that runs from September to September and leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) whilst the apprentice remains in paid employment within a school. Apprentices can specialise in either Primary (3-7 or 5-11) or a specific subject at Secondary level.
